[There's been much to adapt to, as expected, but frankly not a lot is surprising after the Termina festival and the resort they'd been stuck in for longer than anticipated. The Planet is... different. Vibrant, in some ways, yet fading. It makes him think back to one of the skin bibles pertaining to Vinushka, how the God of Nature was dead. The Planet, though beautiful, is fading.
The monsters -- fiends, whatever -- aren't so terrifying to him, to be perfectly honest. Though very little is after the moonscorched of Prehevil. The only downside is that fiend bodies don't stay very long for him to analyze and perform an autopsy. They fade -- return to the Planet, as Aerith informed him.
At the moment, they're stuck in the Gold Saucer. Loud, noisy place. It makes him think a little of one of the carnivals he saw in the distance as a boy, but never went to. Instead, he would watch, waiting for his parents to return for him. But here, he isn't alone; not by a longshot.
Lightly, he knocks on the door of the inn before letting himself inside.]
