BRUTARO: brutally domestic

With Jotaro at their side, taking on the Boss was much more feasible. In the end, after Abbacchio had obtained Diavolo's face and they met with Jotaro's old friend, they fought with everything they had to defeat him. It leaves Giorno Giovanna to become the Don of Passione, and with his power he is able to free Bruno. Just like that, really. Not to say that there weren't some disappointments from the rest of the team in some way; no doubt Giorno hoped to keep him around as an advisor and friend, but Bruno for once sees a future of himself with Jotaro.
He gives away his small house to Trish for her to use, to escape from the rest of the world if she ever needs to. Narancia promises to go back to school, ends up deciding to stay with Trish and keep her company. To protect her obviously! Narancia claimed, but more that they found friends in each other.
So, Bruno has his bags packed, and he looks outside the window from Jotaro's hotel quietly. It's hard to believe that he's going to be leaving tomorrow. He's never left Italy before, but for once he knows it'll be in good hands.
"Do you think she'll like me?" Bruno asks absently, meaning Jolyne.

That...last bit still gives him the heebie-jeebies, a little, but Giorno's more than proven himself over the last — what is it, even? Two weeks, if that? Fuck.
Still, it doesn't matter. What matters is that Bruno is free, at last. His dream of escaping the heavy leash and collar of the mafia has finally been realized, and there's nothing to hold him here except the bonds of friendship. No chains, no obligations. Just love.
His bag still isn't quite packed, but there's time yet for that. Right now it seems more important to walk over and join Bruno at the window, coming up behind him to wrap his arms around his waist and nuzzle against the side of his head.]
Hmm. I don't know, are you going to spoil her rotten? I bet you are, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
