BRUTARO: brutally domestic

With Jotaro at their side, taking on the Boss was much more feasible. In the end, after Abbacchio had obtained Diavolo's face and they met with Jotaro's old friend, they fought with everything they had to defeat him. It leaves Giorno Giovanna to become the Don of Passione, and with his power he is able to free Bruno. Just like that, really. Not to say that there weren't some disappointments from the rest of the team in some way; no doubt Giorno hoped to keep him around as an advisor and friend, but Bruno for once sees a future of himself with Jotaro.
He gives away his small house to Trish for her to use, to escape from the rest of the world if she ever needs to. Narancia promises to go back to school, ends up deciding to stay with Trish and keep her company. To protect her obviously! Narancia claimed, but more that they found friends in each other.
So, Bruno has his bags packed, and he looks outside the window from Jotaro's hotel quietly. It's hard to believe that he's going to be leaving tomorrow. He's never left Italy before, but for once he knows it'll be in good hands.
"Do you think she'll like me?" Bruno asks absently, meaning Jolyne.

[It's so good just to touch him. Just to run his hands over his body, free to hold him, free to pull him close. It's so good to hear Bruno laugh like he hasn't got a care in the world, and know that for once, he probably doesn't.]
Hmm. I guess that depends on what kind of criminal you are, right? If you're a swindler, I might have to be worried. On the other hand, if you're just a litterbug, I'm probably all right.
[He grins, teasing.]

[It's so strange to not have the weight of everything on his shoulders. Before, he'd bitterly accepted his position, his lot in this life. Knowing how cruel the world was, his cursed situation and the slowly tightening noose around his neck.
Jotaro and Giorno changed that. And now, he's truly a free man. He almost doesn't know what to do, but maybe he doesn't even have to worry about that anymore.
He tsks, nipping at Jotaro's lower lip.]
How rude. I always throw away my trash. Perhaps I will just steal your heart instead.
Ah, but it seems I already have done just that.

[Carefully, he sets Bruno back down onto his feet, hating to relinquish the satisfying feeling of holding him, but wanting to be able to touch him more — to catch the ends of his hair between his fingers, to follow the column of his neck and tease at the nip where it meets his shoulder.]
What are you going to do with it, now that you've got it? That heart you stole from me. I bet you've got some terrible plan for it.

I was thinking maybe I'll keep you. Bewitch you into loving me.

[His green eyes soften, the lines in his face easing. It would be so easy to lose himself in Bruno right now, sweep him up and take him to bed and kiss him until he can't possibly think of anything else, but he's not ready to lose this yet. There's something comforting in just standing still with him, with the light of the setting sun still streaming in the window, letting the reality of it sink in.]
I'd find it pretty hard to imagine. Someone not loving you, I mean.
