[ That's. Certainly something. Trevor isn't sure what to make of it - oh, he should be sure what to make of it, but he's significantly more concerned with the fact that his benefactor has turned out to be a kidnapper.

And so he just keeps running, trying to keep pace with the other boy. In the woods, the moonlight is scarce and he can't see, but every time he trips he just keeps moving his legs as Adrian drags him forward until his feet hit the ground properly again. And just a little after the point that breathing in burns and his legs feel like jelly, he listens, and there are only two sets of foorsteps audible instead of three.

He lets his pace slow, pulling Adrian back to slow him down as well. ]

I don't hear him anymore.

[There's a moment of hesitation, but he lets Trevor slow him down, but keeps his hand in the other boy's. He lets out a sigh, frowning to himself.]

What a brute. [Adrian huffs for a moment before turning his attention to Trevor.] Why were you staying with someone like that? Is he the one that hurt you?
